For most Thai small businesses, the best answer isn’t website OR Facebook OR LINE. They serve different purposes and can work together.

Facebook can help people discover your business.

LINE makes it easy to talk to customers.

Your website gives your business an official home where people can understand and check your company.

What is Facebook good at?

Facebook is excellent for activity.

You can post photos, promotions, news and new products. Customers can follow you, share your posts and send messages.

It shows that your business is active.

But information on Facebook moves quickly. An important post from six months ago may be difficult for a new customer to find today.

What is LINE good at?

LINE is excellent for conversation.

A customer already interested in your business can ask a question, request a price, make an appointment or discuss an order.

But LINE isn’t designed to explain your whole business to someone meeting you for the first time.

What is a website good at?

A website is your permanent online home.

It can clearly show:

  • What your business does
  • Your products or services
  • Your previous work
  • Information about your company
  • Your location
  • Your contact details
  • Links to Facebook, LINE and other channels

When someone searches for your company, you have an official place to send them.

Do I have to maintain all three?

This is where many business owners become worried.

They imagine having another place that needs daily posts, replies and attention.

But your website doesn’t have to work like social media.

The core information on a business website may remain useful for months or years. You only need to change it when something about your business changes.

You can continue doing what you already do:

  • Talk to customers on LINE.
  • Let your website explain and support your business.

A typical customer journey

Imagine someone sees one of your Facebook posts.

They’re interested but aren’t ready to contact you yet.

They tap your website.

There they see your services, previous work, location and information about the people behind the company.

Now they feel comfortable.

Then they tap the LINE button and start a conversation.

Facebook, the website and LINE haven’t competed with each other.

They’ve worked together.

Which one should I choose?

If you’re just starting and your customers already find you through Facebook, Facebook may remain very important.

If customers frequently communicate through LINE, keep using LINE.

Adding a website doesn’t mean replacing either of them.

It gives those channels something they don’t provide as well: one stable, professional place that belongs to your business and explains who you are.

Want Facebook, LINE and a website to work together?
